Earlier this week, the Larch needles still colored the landscape.

A Cottonwood leaf told me of drifting away and the changes that were coming.
My views have been transformed over the last couple days by a mantle of white, defined by dark Fir greens and Ponderosa limbs.
Ice is back and I find myself kneeling down to get close to the new shapes, lines, textures―and the surprise of the many places the Larch needles travel.
Next week I will be traveling to Helena and participating in the Celebrate Montana Art: Artist Showcase and Sale brought to you by the Montana Arts Council. http://art.mt.gov/ It would be great to see you if you are in Helena. My booth will be in the lobby. For more information: https://www.facebook.com/MAPgathering/
