Walking with My Camera: Big Knife Creek in May

Snow melt and rain create lively water in Big Knife Creek. I sat on the bank to feel the surge and splash.

My camera and I got a little wet with the soft rain as I worked to capture the layers and hold the water in stillness for a moment.

The water – singing of the gravitational pull down the mountains.

Sometimes I believe the water in my body responds to this water. When I sit quietly, I feel inside me–movement–recognition–memory–this water–myself–part of each other.
