Walking with My Camera: Light and Water

The day–gray with rain instead of snow led me to find some photographs from walk I took last the fall. These images are from a small water way named Big Knife Creek located on Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation tribal forest land. I take many hundreds of photographs of water and light in water (most of them get deleted). Occasionally I find some elements that captivate my eye for a deeper look. In these images it was the aliveness of the sun light in the moving water.

Tonight we have snow and the morning will bring a transformed landscape. Here’s to transformation in 2021 and to a better year for all life on the planet.
