Walking with My Camera: New Snow, Pollen,Leaves, Light

The last storm brought heavy rain to the lower elevations and new snow to the mountains. The humid air is scented with wild rose and ninebark and chokecherry blossoms.

Yesterday the ponderosa pollen swirled in the rain puddles and lined edges.

The willow seeds are flung open.

Today the wild geranium and penstemon brought welcome color after the cool gray days.

One evening last week I spent some time looking at the light coming through aspen leaves. Leaves make me so happy.

The sun lit some of the leaves like messengers – “wait – stop here – look here – we share this light”
