Walking With My Camera: Sky in Water

4/22/17

Today outside the window a steady dense rain presses to the ground―runs down the road―gathers on the red-brown newness of the Chokecherry leaves. I am sorting through photographs from the last week. I can’t seem to let go of sky in water―branches in water. Here the white clouds and the Snowberry branches drifted in subtle current. I know they are taking me somewhere. A pull, a thread I will follow.

For a now, I am invited into views of condensation.

water vapor changed to liquid water reflected in water

the clouds somehow more accessible, closer to earth, closer to me

closer to my waterness
